Our R-945 receiver set the standard for A/V Receivers.
Not only was it the world’s first to provide on-board decoding
for Dolby® Pro Logic, Dolby® Digital and DTS®, its innovative internal
construction, inspired by the computer industry, has become the benchmark for
building digital receivers.
The R-963 refines that benchmark. Behind its
reference styling lies a fully-fitted, 7.1 channel receiver rated
at 120 Watts x 7 with HD component video switching, multi-room
operation (featuring independent second-room audio/video feed and
dedicated remote), CD “Re-Mastering” to 192 kHz/24-bit
and, of course, digital decoding for all major surround formats.
Ease-of-use is guaranteed by our inclusion of our RNC-5OO advanced
remote control. As to our use of the best parts: some examples
include Cirrus Crystal CS-49326 24-bit digital decoder and Burr
Brown’s 192 kHz/24
bit DAC’s. We use them for all eight channels.
